This group is for English speakers trying to learn/practice Mandarin and Mandarin speakers trying to learn/practice English. I figure no matter how you are trying to learn, nothing takes the place of practicing the language with real people in person. Whether it's all English speakers stumbling through together in Mandarin or a mix of English and Mandarin speakers teaching each other, it can only help to have more practice!

… Other rides are just long, and fatigue is definitely a safety factor, particularly for newer riders. We try to include a description of the difficulty of the ride on the calendar, and will try and have at least one ride a month that is shorter, on easier roads, which will be good for newer riders to get their feet wet.  If you are a newer rider, be sure to read the ride description before signing up for a ride.
